Dumplings Togo
The LA restaurant chain Northern Cafe, serving authentic Chinese dumplings, was developing a new store concept for their newest addition "Dumplings ToGo" a more modern, fast-food style and grab-and-go type of restaurant.

I was hired as a designer for the new restaurant concept, Dumplings Togo, creating digital and printed menus, new logo designs, and restaurant interior mockups. Through collaboration, conversations with stakeholders’ needs and goals and the iterative design process, I created a three screen layout for the new menu modernizing the design to create a clean, legible and bright display. Such design aesthetics reflect popular restaurant chains today like McDonalds and Starbucks, who utilize a clean/modern menu design, duotone color schemes and sans-serif typography. Dumplings Togo was opened in Los Angeles on September 12, 2023.
